An action-packed two-day adventure combining Canberra’s iconic places and a fun snow play experience at Perisher.

ITINERARY
Day 1 – Canberra Exploration & Overnight Stay
Pick-up Location: Kiss and Ride Bay, Central Station (City Pickup only)

Departure: 8:00 AM sharp (please check train schedules for delays)

On the bus: No toilet onboard, but we’ll stop in Marulan for snacks and a toilet break. For all other stops, there will be access to toilets.
Canberra Itinerary:
National Museum of Australia, New Parliament House, Australian War Memorial then you can have dinner & shopping near the accommodation at your own expense.

Dormitory accommodation: 8 beds per room, mixed gender. Your group will stay together in the same room as long as it fits the room capacity. Mixed gender. Please book your private room at additional charge ($220 for a couple) if you are not comfortable sharing.
We stay in a private shared dormitory close to Canberra Centre, restaurants and cafes. For business and operational reasons, we only provide the exact accommodation details to confirmed guests on the tour day. (See in the photos what our dorm looks like )

Day 2 – Perisher Snow Adventure

6:00 AM: Continental breakfast: Continental breakfast usually includes light, cold items such as bread, butter, jam, cereal, milk and juice. It DOES NOT include hot meals like bacon, eggs, rice or noodles. Coffee or tea may be available but choices are generally basic. It’s a simple, self-serve breakfast commonly offered in hotels to give you a quick start to your day.

Snow gear rental:
Snow jackets, water proof pants required if tobogganing and snow boots can be rented at discounted rates directly from the store in Cooma. These items must be paid for in-store (cash or card) and cannot be pre-booked.Toboggans:
Toboggans are the only items that must be prepaid to the tour operator via PayID ($17) as our team needs to allocate space and manage loading per bus. This ensures all toboggans are accounted for, safely handled, and available when you arrive at the snow site.
Instructions for payment and cut-off time will be shared in the group chat prior to the tour so please wait to be added in the group chat.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Bookings may be rescheduled up to 7 days prior to departure, subject to availability.

No refunds or credits will be issued for late arrivals or no-shows once the tour has commenced.

If you become unwell (including COVID-19) and are unable to attend, refunds are not available, but rescheduling may be offered if notice is given at least 7 days before the tour and subject to availability.

We require a minimum number of participants for the tour to proceed. If this number is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. In that case, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Please understand that we do not provide refunds for illness or change of mind, as all bookings involve upfront payments to secure services for all participants.

If you’re not comfortable with these conditions, we kindly ask that you do not proceed with the booking.
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or alternative remedy if we cancel the tour or fail to provide the service as described.

Seating & Child Policy

We welcome children under the age of 3. For safety reasons, children of any age are not allowed to sit on laps and must have their own seat. We enforce a strict one-person, one-paid-seat policy. You must pay for children and babies in full amount.

Important:
By joining this tour, you acknowledge that you are fit to travel and agree to the seating arrangement based strictly on the payment date. Please do not book if you are not comfortable with this arrangement.
You will receive a message via SMS or Messenger once the group chat is created (usually on the Tuesday of your tour week).
Child Safety
Parents or guardians must provide an appropriate child seat to ensure their child’s comfort and safety during the trip.
Travel Considerations
For the comfort of all passengers, we ask that children joining the tour can manage long-distance travel calmly.
We do not recommend this tour for children who may have difficulty with extended travel, as excessive noise or restlessness could disturb fellow passengers.
Insurance
Passengers are responsible for their own personal travel insurance.
Our vehicles are fully insured; however, individual insurance is not included in the tour package.

ABOUT THE TOUR
For those wanting a short yet exciting winter getaway, the Thredbo Snow Tour with 1-night accommodation in Canberra Centre offers the perfect mix of adventure and comfort.
We depart Friday at 5:30 PM from Sydney Central Station and head straight to our Canberra accommodation, giving you a proper night’s rest before snow day. Enjoy newly refurbished, clean and comfortable rooms in a central location.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
• Pick-Up: Friday, 5:30 PM – Central Station Kiss and Ride Bay
• Drop-Off: Saturday, approx. 11:00 PM – Central Station
Saturday Snow Day Itinerary
• 5:30 AM – Continental breakfast at the hotel
• 6:00 AM – Depart hotel
• 8:00 AM – Arrive in Cooma for discounted snow clothing and shoe hire (own expense)
• 10:30 AM – Arrive in Thredbo for snow fun until 2:30 PM
All snow activities are at your own expense. You may choose to enjoy Thredbo’s famous Alpine Coaster and Gondola. For safety and quality, toboggans are not allowed.
🎟 Lift tickets, gondola passes, and Alpine Coaster tickets must be pre-booked directly through Thredbo’s website. Limited tickets may be available for purchase on the day, however availability is not guaranteed.
We depart Thredbo at 2:30 PM, return snow gear in Cooma, then stop for dinner and a toilet break at around 6:45 PM (30 min stop). We expect to be back at Sydney Central Station around 11:00 PM on Saturday.

Snow gear rental items will be accommodated separately during the tour. Please avoid bringing oversized luggage where possible.
